Shape neck and shoulders using short-rows as foll:

SHORT-ROW 1: (WS) Knit to last 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5) sts, wrap next st, turn work.

SHORT-ROW 2: (RS) Knit to last 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5) sts, wrap next st, turn work.

SHORT-ROW 3: Knit to last 8 (8, 8, 10, 10, 10) sts, wrap next st, turn work.

SHORT-ROW 4: K18 (21, 23, 24, 25, 28, 28, 30), wrap next st, turn work.

SHORT-ROW 5: K15 (17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 23, 25), wrap next st, turn work.

SHORT-ROW 6: K10 (11, 13, 14, 14, 16, 16, 17), wrap next st, turn work.

SHORT-ROW 7: K7 (8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 11, 12), wrap next st, turn work.

SHORT-ROW 8: K3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5) wrap next st, turn work.

SHORT-ROW 9: Knit to end of row, but do not work wraps tog with wrapped sts when you come to them.

SHORT-ROWS 10–16: Beg with a RS row, rep Short-rows 3–9.

ROW 17: (WS) K17 (18, 20, 22, 22, 24, 24, 26), BO center 38 (44, 46, 48, 54, 57, 57, 59) sts, knit to end of row—17 (18, 20, 22, 22, 24, 24, 26) sts rem for each shoulder.

Place sts on holders.
